Chapter Philanthropy and Service
The San Francisco-Marin Counties Alumnae Chapter supports these and other Bay Area non-profit organizations:
La Casa de las Madres, which offers a comprehensive continuum of support services to survivors of domestic violence. Each year La Casa’s expert prevention and intervention services engage over 15,000 community members, touching over 50,000 lives.
Homeless Prenatal Program, which empowers families, particularly mothers motivated by pregnancy and parenthood, to recognize their strengths and trust in their own capacity to transform their lives. HPP serves more than 3,500 homeless and low-income families annually.
Music in Schools Today, which advocates for, supports and develops integrated, accessible, sustainable and measurable music-in-education programs that improve student achievement. MUST’s in-school artist programs reach over 21,000 children and youth annually.
Through the ZTA Foundation, the chapter also supports the following national partners:
- American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks
- Bright Pink, which educates women about breast and ovarian cancer
- NFL's Crucial Catch, promoting annual screenings
